Premie and Child’s Hats: 4 colors, 4-1 oz/62 yd hanks;
Small Adult and Large Adult: 4 colors, 5-1 oz/62 yd hanks (you need 2 hanks of predominant color)
Gauge: 5.5 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch; 6 stitches & 7 rows per inch in people pattern
Needles: size 4, 16 inch circular & double points for crown decreases
